about
With a new EP on the horizon, Byron Gold is all set to propel his soulful tones and introspective writings to blazing new heights.
Brought up on a notorious council estate in south London, the British singer/songwriter and Creative Director found music to be his saving grace from a world of disparity. Byron’s distilled and unruffled voice emerged from his love of both live music and rich harmonies and was born from bedroom producing and experiential song writing.
Byron has since toured with BRIT Award Winner Lemar, opened for RnB legend Keith Sweat at the Indigo 02, provided backing vocals on ITV's X Factor and joined forces with his a cappella group The Gold Vocal Collective making it to the finals of Sky One’s 'Sing: Ultimate A Cappella' TV show.
Off stage Byron Gold is a strong believer in music enrichment and continues to work with various arts and educational institutions such as Battersea Arts Centre, Soho Theatre, ARK Schools, Theatre Royal Stratford East and the Borough Of Newham.
