Off stage Byron Gold is a strong believer in music enrichment and continues to work with various arts and educational institutions. Working with the likes of Battersea Arts Centre, Soho Theatre, ARK Schools and The Borough Of Newham as a Creative Director and music mentor.

Through his reputation as a sturdy Voice Coach and Vocal Arranger, Byron Gold has been invited to participant in a number of high profile music events and television programmes.

 

Appearing on ITV's X-Factor, BBC2 'The Naked Choir' (Gareth Malone), Channel 4 documentary ‘Young Autistic with Stage Fright’, 'SKY One's SING: Ultimate A Cappella' and recently CBeebies Yolanda Brown's 'Band Jam' presented next year.

Byron Gold exhibits an extensive range of skills working with all different types of learners including those experiencing learning difficulties, disabilities and emotionally challenging behaviour.

 

Byron Gold has also travelled to South Africa to work with communities affected by HIV and AIDS as an Ambassador of the music charity ‘Sing Up’.
